How can Prop 8 stand as law when MOST people can't even remember that it was AGAINST gay marriage?

The majority of those who voted for it knew what it was for, that's all that matters, besides, does something have to be understood for it to be ped into law ?Do you have any idea how much legislation is ped without the American people or even those voting on it in congress knowing or understanding what it is being ped ? Most of the Democrats who signed onto Obama's stimulus never even read it, and they ped that into law, were you bothered by that ? God bless.
