Need finanical istance for kitten?

A kitten my mom got for us from the human society need surgery to correct an eye problem that is genetic. The nessiary surgery is 1000-3000 dollars and we don't have that money right now. We don't need to keep him, just for him to LIVE, so options for finanical istance to get the cost down, would be great. If it means that we don't keep him that is ok we just wnat him to have a good quality of life. Any suggestions, ANYTHING is appricated and even if it sounds ridiculous it might work so help any help is good!
