How are the kicks on 66?

i was planning a long day trip to the grand canyon duning a vegas trip in 12 days! WOO HOO! I'll be renting a dodge charger for the day and was wanting to let her loose a little on the open road without the cops around. anyway I was wondering how the road is on AZ 66 between Kingman and Seligmanas opposed to I-40. thanks
