My boyfriend and I have been dating for a little over a year. He lied to my face.?

A really good friend of mine told me that a girl who happens to be literally obese went over to his house. So i went to his house and rang on his doorbell and at first he didn't want to let me in but then he did. I asked him if she was at his house and he lied to my face that she was not. I knew she was over because i saw her ugg boot footprints on his driveway and he also didn't want to let me into his house. He told me later that day they were just watching a movie. I know he did not cheat on me. But he lied to my face. Now the other girl is really upset because he told her not to talk to him again because they were "really good friends". He wants me back. My good friends think i should not have anything to with him anymore. I don't know what to do.
