Is he a jerk?

i told this guy that i don't want to talk to him anymore, he askd me y, then i said its b/c i dont think he cares bout our friendship, so then he goes and signs offline! seems like a cowardly thing to do. me, having no impulse control go and im him the next day and say that so i guess u had nothing to say in response to what i said yday? and he of course doesnt respond to my im. is he mad at me, or scared, or waht? he usually responds to my ims on a normal basis.
