I need help sleep training my 6 month old son!?

Within the pat 2 months, my son has gotten super congested 2 different times, and started rolling over (at first could only roll over one way so I would have to go roll him back) in his crib. Also, his bedtime got extended about 45 minutes or so. All of this led to him learning to fall asleep at the at bedtime and needing me to hold him, give him the pacifier and walk him around until he fell asleep on me in order to lay down for a nap. He used to be able to fall asleep on his own at naptime and bedtime. So now I am having to undo all of these bad habits that I have helped him learn. At 6 months, he now knows that I will come into his bedroom if he cries, and doesn't like being put down awake. My ped. suggested getting him really drowsy, laying him down and leaving for 5 minutes. If he was still crying, come in and soothe him however I need to so he will get back to the drowsy stage and lay him down again. Any suggestions for this? Advice? It's hard to listen to crying...

Your grades and credentials sound almost exactly like mine were when I was applying to colleges this year. I'm not sure what programs you are interested in but you have a shot at getting into an ivy school depending on how you are different from everyone else applying. At the very least you should be able to get into a fairly competitive school. If you go to the collegeboard website you can also search for schools that have SAT and ACT score ranges around your targets to better get an idea of where you would fit in.

Kitchen "cold tap" running really slow but all others are ok?

Could be a perished washer shut down water supply and take tap to bits (unscrew from top),if it is a washer replace it,the only other thing I can think of is ,when the new boiler was installed the fitter might have switched of a 15mm isolation valve on the cold water pipe ,you will find this on the cold water pipe under the tap which is not working properly,first check that there is one ,and using a normal screw driver make sure that the screwdriver slot is running parallel with the pipe ,sometimes if they are rushing they don't line it up correctly,good luck

BladeZ gas goped problems?

Ok... i went to a swap meat earlier today and found a BladeZ gas, 2-stoke, 40cc scooter for a decent price. He did not have any gas so he was unable to show me it running (probably on purpose). Well when i got it home, i cleaned it off, filled the tank, and got it running (took a LONG time) and found it to be really sluggish... maybe 5mph.And not only that, i had to have the carb open ALL THE WAY to get it runnning. I took it around the court twice and down a hill and then..... it stalled. I havn't been able to get it started since. Any ideas? spark plug? any adjustments i should change? There is a screw on the side of the carb... looks like a air fuel adjustment screw. Should i mess with that?

The distance between the goal posts is 18.5 ft and the distance between the goal post and the hash mark is 10.75 ft. The question is how far away from the goal post does the kicker need to be in order to optimize his angle. I think this equation would give me the correct distance, but if i'm wrong i'd like to know.

okay get this... i am a 14 year old Dude..that goes to a 7,000 population community...at the ages 4 - 6 i had been a little fighter...the ages of 6 - 9 i been a okay person, who doesn't dress that good in the style...and now ever since at the age 9 i been shy....like i switched skools when i was 9, but then the first year of the new school, i been laughing and hiding my smile all of the sudden...i wasn't rude or nasty, i had been brighter...but shy-er, when i was in grade 7 the rest of my cl and the other cl, had to go to my old school, because the old school didn't have a grade 7, but then i seen my old friends and teachers, but then i notice i was STILL shy.....i kept on hiding my smile and everything....i get little panic attacks sometimes....when im at home im soo DIFFERENT..it's liek i have 2 different lives......is it bullying?....cos there was this jerk in my cl that been insulting me sometimes...and another jerks in the other cles....so i been sititng in cl ALONE,...but i just have this ONE friend that knows i been hiding another life, and i act around him just fine...my bff i guess, but he's never in skool at times... so every morning i worry about him not being in cl or not....and in recess time i also worry about being hit by a ball by mistake (they laugh), but one of of my old friends TRIED and TRY to play with me, one of the girls in my cl actually invited me to play basket ball with them...but i was TOO shy to go.... .....im also shy in public too...and other family memebers....some of my cousins im not shy to be around... just the older cousins, and my auntie's and uncles...i don't know why im like this...i just don't like Awkward moments ....i have a feeling i might end up living in an apartment, with a job down the street..and stuff,and yet im a HUGE fan of Michael Jackson...i dance to his music like 4 times per week....i don't eat that much junkfood, and i go crazy on soda pops..i drink them 7 days per week.....but i have this other life in my head...i imagine that im in a group called "The Teenage Dream", with 1 other guy me and 2 girls that i have a crush on....but they live WAY down south..i imagine that we are BIG starts like Michael Jackson...and yet i am obsessed with WWE also..ever since at the age 3 i been a HUGE fan of it too.....i also go on facebook and youtube ALOT..like everynight, over 7 hours on the weekends at night also...well thats about it....just tell me WHY am i shy?....no "go to a therapist" ...no ......so just think whatever u guys think....give me advice or something..i just want a reason

I got a 204 on the PSAT. How does this look overall? I don't know what made me search this just now, and I'm not sure how much help I can offer. My 22 year old brother ped away a month ago, it was a sudden death with no cause of death to be found. I'm dealing with a lot of similar thoughts and the overwhelming feelings throughout days (I'm in college too so I can relate to the gpa drop). I think your searching for an answer you'll never find - the pain will never go away. You have to accept the "new normal" of your life and understand that life will never be the same, but it will get easier. Me and my siblings (there's 5 of us) find comfort in the memories, like" hey remember that time.." I think it helps because while we won't be at his wedding or holding nieces and nephews of his, we still do have tons of things and time we did get with him. Stay positive, instead of the we never got to's focus on the we got to's. Never forget each and every day you were blessed with his life. Idk if you can relate to this part either but my brother loved life more than anyone I've met, and its kind of my older brother still leading by example even though he's gone, he would hate to know that anyone wasn't enjoying life, and I find it helps to think of this and walk in my big bro's footsteps and love life just as much as he did. Okay well I'm 15 and I never feel good enough, for anything. I always feel like people are trash talking me or planning ways to torture me or something. Nothing makes me happy anymore, everything is a "have to'' not a "want to." When I'm with people, I always wonder if there's some other motive than just to be with me. Whenever I make a mistake, no matter how small, I always feel like I have no reason to make a little error and I constantly feel like I need to punish myself for it, which I do. I used to have issues with bulimia and I still have issues with cutting myself. I don't feel like I have anyone to talk to about anything, so I just keep everything inside and eventually I break down. All the time I go from idolizing people to hating them, and I'm not really sure why. When I'm around other people I act all happy and stuff but I really just want to scream and flip ****. People always tell me that I'm always so happy in a good mood, and I wanna rip there heads off becuase I feel like there's something wrong but I'm not worth listening to.The only time I can really calm myself down is when I think of one time when I cut myself and the blood flowed out steadily instead of just a little trickle, which I'm sure isn't "normal." Can a year lease renew for a year in OHIO?

I signed a year lease in Dec of 07. I still live there but am thinking of moving in with a friend. After checking on it, my lease states that it will renew for the 'same term' (one year) as the lease if I don't move. So its one year or nothing. I was under the impression that a year lease couldn't roll over for another whole year- making that line of the lease not enforceable. Personaly, I'd get a new one, but bleach will get rid of most fungus and disinfect - you can dilute the bleach with water - let it stand a while until all fungus is gone; add more bleach if needed. I said "well I just asked for wood tipped ones, so I should get the items I just payed my own money for".. she started saying all this bs about how they can't exchange, and that the clerk was new.. I told her - just because the clerk is new, I can't get the items I requested, and paid for?.. I walked 2 feet out the door before realizing,, she said it was MY fault for not inspecting them when handed to me to see if they were wood tipped.. (..so I if I bought 100 different items and walked out the door and noticed they werent what I paid for, it's MY fault for not inspecting each single item?) i had the receipt and all.. Just because she's a new cashier and doesn't know what she's doing, it's all my fault? I was arguing with this dumb manager of the gas station who seemed to not like me, and even the clerks were on my side.. she eventually called the cops.. It's not the amount or value of what "I" payed for, it's the principle.. School Uniforms for girls only?

So my highschool started a school uniform this year and only the girls have to wear them. They said that most of the girls, not me, were dressing too provacitavley and showing their thongs and too y for school. So the school gave us a uniform consisting of a grey pleated skirt, white shirt, knee socks and sandle shoes. To make it worse we have regulation panties too. They are white cotton brief ones. Anyway that's not so bad but it gets worse. In the morning before going in homeroom they have random pantie checks. That's right. Usually just a couple times a week a female(thankfully) teacher or staff member stands outside the door and you have to stop and pull up your skirt to make sure you're wearing the correct panties and not thongs. I mean yeah they have a female teacher doing it but any boy walking in the hallway can cleary see you. It's kind of embarring. its my 6th day of having chicken pox, most of them started to crust, but one, one of them on my forehead is really large (10 cent coin -size) and full of liquid, kind of grey-ish yellow-ish...and the pox is really bubbly. One of my participants has rediculously long response times. Response time is a dependent measure in my study. With the participant's data (using 1 way ANOVA) I get a p value of .07. Without it I get a p value of .03. So, it's a matter of significant results or not. I only have 27 participants and can't run anymore. 1989 Honda Prelude Si 4WS, Standard. Turns over but won't start?

Had a leak in my gas line for a day or two. Had some issues starting during that time. would turn over for a couple seconds but wouldnt start. then id turn the key back and try again and it would start. Fixed the leak in the gas line and now it wont start unless i pour gas directly into the engine and then it turns off when the gas is used up. it still turns over... could it be the feul pump?
